- Heat ghee in a pressure pan and add cumin and mustard seeds. Let them splutter. Add whole spices mentioned above.
- Make a puree of onions, ginger, garlic and green chillies, add this to the ghee.
- Once the onions oozes out oil add pureed tomatoes.
- Add all the seasoning powder mentioned above and also add salt.
- Mix well and let cook for 2 minutes.
- Add cleaned and washed lima beans to the sauted masalas.
- Mix well and let it cook for some time.
- Add desired amount of water and boil for 2 minutes.
- Cover the pressure cooke and take 2-3 whistles.
- It's done, add chopped coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with chapatis or a bowl of steamed rice and plain dal.
