  3. Add chopped tomatoes and sliced green onion. Toss and combine. Add juice from remaining lemons.
  4. Add your fluffed bulgur to the parsley mixture as well as the olive oil. Mix til combined, adding salt as needed.

Tabbouleh salad is traditionally served with the inner leaves of romaine lettuce or cabbage for scooping (not pita bread), as part of a meze platter of dishes like hummus, baba ganoush, and marinated feta. Drizzle over the lemon juice and olive oil and season, to taste, with salt. Mix well to coat the ingredients in the liquid. To serve, divide the tabbouleh equally among four serving plates. Tabbouleh is a Middle Eastern dish made of bulgur wheat, finely chopped herbs, and spices.
