- Gather all your ingredients

- Add your spices : tumeric, royco, garam masala, black pepper and paprika at this point. Mix everything till combined and let them cook for 2 minutes. Let your heat be on low so that they don’t burn (kuungua)
- Add your tomatoes and the green bell pepper. Add some water. Mix, cover and let the tomatoes cook till tender
- Add the carrots and mix. Let the carrots cook for like two minutes. By now you should be having some thick stew of all the vegetables we’ve been adding. Add salt at this point
- Add the dengu now and mix till everything is well combined. Pour in the milk, mix and let your stew cook for like 3-4 minutes
- Add the coconut milk/ cream. Stir your stew and let it cook for 3 minutes or so. Garnish with coriander.
- Serve with rice or chapati and enjoy🤤
