Chilli mushroom recipe - A simple healthy mushroom recipe that's perfect for a home preparation. This is almost same as restaurant style popular Indo chinese chilli mushroom except the mushrooms are not deep fried here. To make the restaurant style chilli mushroom recipe, mushrooms are battered and then fried.
To begin with this particular recipe, we have to prepare a few ingredients. You can have mushroom chilli using 16 ingredients and 10 steps. Here is how you cook that.
The ingredients needed to make Mushroom chilli:
- Take 200 gm mashroom (cut into 2 pcs)
- Get 1 medium capsicum(chopped)
- Prepare 50 gm green onion chopped(or onion)
- Prepare 8-10 buds garlic finely chopped
- Prepare 1 " pc ginger finely chopped
- Get Ginger garlic paste (4-5 buds garlic+1/2" ginger)
- Make ready 5-6 green chilli chopped
- Take 2 tb spn black soya sauce
- Take 2 tb spn green chilli sauce
- Take 2 tb spn vinegar
- Prepare 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- Take 1/2 cup corn starch
- Get 1/2 tb spn corn starch+ 1/2 tb spn maida+1/2 cup water
- Get Salt as per the taste
- Get 1 tb spn Black pepper powder
- Prepare Cooking oil
Stir in the garlic, chili powder, and cayenne pepper. Chilli mushroom recipe is almost the same as mushroom manchurian recipe with gluten free ingredients that I blogged yesterday. The main player is red chilli paste which gives the deep fried mushrooms color and a spicy flavor. Nutritionally, mushrooms are rich in essential trace minerals and protein.
Steps to make Mushroom chilli:
- First boil mashroom for 25 mins.
- Take out the mashroom from water n put in a net so extra water will go off.
- Make a batter of all purpose flour and corn starch. Add 1 pinch salt and ginger garlic paste and mix it well.
- Now dip all the boiled mashroom into the batter and keep it for 10 mins so that mashroom can soak the batter in it.
- Now in a pan take cooking oil for deep fry. Put the mashroom in hot oil and deep fry it till they become golden in color and take out from the pan. (Medium flame).
- Now in a pan take some cooking oil. In hot oil put chopped ginger garlic. Do not fry too much. Then add chopped green onion and green chilli. Cook it for 5 mins. (Medium flame)
- Now add black pepper powder + black soya sauce+ green chilli sauce+vinegar and mix it well.
- Now add the liquid (1/2 tb spn corn starch+1/2 tb spoon maida (all purpose flour)+1/2 cup water). Add salt as per the taste and Mix it well and cook for 5 mins. (medium flame)
- Now add fried mashroom and chopped capsicum and cook it for 4 mins.
- Mashroom chilli is ready now
Mushroom are one of the major sources of Vitamin D making it essential to include in our diets. If desired, top with sour cream and green onions. Add onion, garlic, carrot and chilies and cook for a few minutes until onion softens. Add chopped mushrooms, and continue to cook for a few minutes until mushrooms soften. Add washed lentils and stir for a minute.
