  2. After one week, take it out. When it reaches room temperature. Churn it for 5mins. Add 100 ml water churn it for 5 minutes. Then again 100ml water and churn again for 5 minutes.
  3. When Butter gets collected,stop churning. Separate butter and whey water. Whey water is rich in protein, so drink it.
  4. In a kadaai add this Butter and heat it in SIM. When Butter melts fully add washed dried leaves. Stir it occasionally.
  5. When the crust turns brown, turn off the stove. Filter ghee. Add the crust to hot cooked rice and eat. It's good for health and tastes awesome.
  6. Homemade GHEE or Clarified Butter is ready.

Those extra couple of minutes allow the milk solids on the bottom of the pan to begin to brown, which gives ghee a slightly different, more nutty flavor profile to clarified butter.
